A bit more about my expertise:
I have worked for many years with very many talented people and particularly in my work with Professor Peter Fonagy and Professor Anthony Bateman, from the Anna Freud Centre in London, we developed an adolescent version of Mentalisation Based Treatment (MBT) for young people which was based on their original version of MBT for adults with borderline personality disorder. My research team and I conducted a randomised control trail which proved that MBT for adolescents were more effective than treatment usually offered to young people presenting with self harm.
I gained international recognition for my work in this field and have published widely. I have also spoken at numerous international conferences as well as training clinicians across the globe on the implementation of this model.
